UPDATE: Two missing boys found safe

ELK GROVE, CA – The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s assistance to locate two children who were last seen around 3 p.m. on Friday.

The children were last seen at Norman Waters Park in the 8000 block of Elsie Avenue.

UPDATE: Both boys were located safe at a friends house.

Missing are 8-year-old Za-Kee Ellis and 11-year-old Matthew Colter.

Ellis is described as a 4 foot tall black male weighing about 65 pounds with shoulder length braids and a slight case of psoriasis on his face. It is not known what Za-kee was last seen wearing.

Colter is described as a 5 foot tall black male weighing about 80 pounds with short brown hair. He has a “Nike” symbol shaved on the right side of his head. Colter was riding a red BMX-style bike and he is a high functioning autistic boy who is partially deaf.

Searchers are on scene this morning at Norman Waters Park.
