27 of Roseville shooter’s family and gang members arrested

mugs1mugs3ROSEVILLE, CA – Multiple law enforcement agencies arrested 27 people on Wednesday. Thirteen of those arrested are relatives of Roseville police shooting suspect 32-year-old Sammy Duran.

Roseville Police, along with local law enforcement, Immigrations and Customs (ICE), parole officers and Homeland Security, arrested a total of 27 people on Wednesday morning. Those nabbed by Police face charges of witness intimidation, drug possession, possession of drugs for sale, weapons violations and child endangerment. Eight of those arrested are being held by ICE.

It all started after Duran was in a shootout with police in a Roseville neighborhood. After his arrest, gang and family members descended on the small neighborhood and began intimidating witnesses.

According to Roseville Police Lt. Mike Doane, “We had a very violent event that brought to light that gang activity has increased,” Doane told News 10, “Then you add witness intimidation and that neighborhood needed our assistance.”

There were four homes searched in Roseville and other homes located in Placer, Sacramento and Yuba counties were also searched in connection to Duran.

Duran, a known Sureno gang member, opened fire on officers on October 25, wounding a federal immigration officer, who was on scene providing support for Roseville police. A pursuit ensued, followed by Duran barricading himself in a Roseville home. While barricaded in the home he shot a Roseville officer and injured four others by shrapnel.

Th Roseville Police Department has released the following names and related charges:

Antonio Benito Duran, 33, of Roseville – Suspicion of participating in a criminal street gang, threatening or dissuading victims and witnesses, being an accessory to a felony, conspiracy, possession of an illegal weapon (a billy club) and possessing drug paraphernalia.

Juan Pedro Sanchez, 31, of Roseville – Suspicion of child endangerment, possession of meth, possession of meth for sale and possession of an illegal weapon (a billy club).

Davina Inez Felix, 34 – Suspicion of child endangerment, possession of meth for sale, and possession of an illegal weapon (a billy club).

Jimmy Kevin Green, 56, or Roseville – Possessing illegal fireworksmugs4

Alexis Jenest Sandoval, 20, of Roseville – Delaying or obstructing officers

Margerita Elena Ydrogo, 3o, of Roseville – Suspicion of being an accessory to a felony and conspiracy

Alizza Mares, age 18, or Roseville – Suspicion of possessing marijuana for sale and conspiracy.

Jorge Alberto Campos III, age 21, of Roseville – Suspicion of participating in a criminal street gang, threatening/dissuading a witness, and being an accessory to a felony.

Isaac M. Aginaga, age 23, of Roseville – Suspicion of transportation/sales of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Marie Annette Dalton, age 52, of Citrus Heights – Suspicion of child endangerment, possession of methamphetamine, keeping a place to sell drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Juan Pedro Sanchez, age 31 of Roseville – Suspicion of child endangerment, possession of methamphetamine for sale, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of an illegal weapon (billyclub/sap type weapon).

Anita Felix, age 64 of Roseville – Suspicion of child endangerment and keeping a place to sell drugs.

Jose Benjamin Felix, age 19 of Roseville – Suspicion of participating in a criminal street gang, threatening/dissuading a witness, conspiracy, being an accessory to a felony, possession of marijuana for sale.

Elizabeth Baker, age 51 of Roseville – Suspicion of intimidating a witness/victim, being an accessory to a felony, conspiracy, and a Nevada County warrant for DUI.

David Dennis Klein, age 45 of Citrus Heights – Suspicion of possessing methamphetamine, keeping a place to sell drugs, possessing paraphernalia, and a Sacramento County warrant for contempt of court.

Danny Duran Garcia, age 35 of Sacramento – Suspicion of child endangerment and possessing marijuana for sale.

Manuel Orville Blanco, age 32 of Roseville – Suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, obstructing public officials, and probation violation.

Jose Felipe Magana-Aguilera, age 37 of Auburn – Suspicion of using false citizenship documents and illegal entry into the U.S.

Alexander Joseph Felix, age 36 of Roseville – Suspicion of child endangerment.

Abel Mosqueda, age 22 of Auburn – Suspicion of probation violation.

Adam Ruben Sanchez, age 32 – Suspicion of parole violation.

A 17-year-old female juvenile on suspicion of being an accessory to a felony and other related charges

Nolan Jerome Kerfeld, age 31 – Suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and parole violation.
