Vacaville PD on a roll

Police-lightsVACAVILLE, CA – Vacaville police were on a roll last Thursday, arresting seven people on a variety of drug and weapons charges.

According to the Vacaville Police Department, officers with the department’s Narcotics Team served two search warrants in the cities of Dixon and Vallejo. The Narcotics Team was joined by the Vacaville Crime Suppression Team, California Multi-Jurisdictional Methamphetamine Enforcement Team , and the Solano County Sherriff’s Department.

Investigators seized over $7,000 in cash, firearms and more than 10 ounces of methamphetamine, with a street value of approximately $10,000. The suspects were arrested and booked into county jail on a variety of charges.

Known gang member, 21-year-old Irish Donohue of Dixon was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine for sale, possession of a controlled substance while being armed, and being a violent felon with a firearm. He is known to be associated with the Family Affiliated Irish Mafia (FAIM) gang.

Vallejo resident 20-year-old Dempsey Azich was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale, violation of probation, and possession of a controlled substance while being armed.

Pinole resident 23-year-old Mark Rhea was arrested on suspicion of violation of probation.

Dixon Resident 25-year-old Kacey Mertz was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale and possession of a controlled substance while being armed.

Antioch resident 18-year-old Carlos Miranda was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana for sale and being armed with a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Vallejo resident 18-year-old Kalyn Decarlo was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of a controlled substance while being armed, possession of marijuana for sale, and possession of stolen property.

Vallejo resident 19-year-old Jonathan Blakeley was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana for sale, armed with a firearm in the commission of a felony, and violation of probation.
